How to Update
Please advise your team and customers to follow these steps to install the update:
- Prepare the Device: Connect the Dot Pad X via a USB-C cable to the data port located on the left side of the device.
- Crucial: Ensure the device is NOT connected to Dot Canvas or a screen reader during this process.
- Access the Portal: Navigate to the Dot Support Firmware Page
- Connect: Turn on the Dot Pad X and click the "Device Connection" button on the webpage.
- Install: You will see a notification that the update is installing.
- Verify: Upon completion, the screen will display the current firmware version and confirm that the Dot Pad is on the latest version.
