A special moment for Dot Inc. on Friday, October 9 as our co-founder KiKwang Sung accepted the 2026 AccessAbility Award from Helen Keller Services at the Helen Keller National Center in New York.

For more than a decade, we’ve been working to make digital information accessible through tactile technology. But we haven’t done this alone. Blind and DeafBlind people have helped shape our journey, sharing their experiences, challenging us to do better and helping us understand what really matters.

As Ki shared in his acceptance speech, the best innovation begins with listening. It’s a simple idea, but one that continues to guide our work.

Receiving an award in Helen Keller’s name makes the occasion even more meaningful. And while we’re delighted to celebrate this moment, we know there’s still more to learn and more to do.

A big thank you to Helen Keller Services, everyone who has helped us along the way, and our team at Dot Inc. for making this possible.

Congratulations to our fellow honorees, Canon USA, The Indianapolis Public Library, OXO and Rylo.
